Regular Meeting
Mayor Schwarzbach called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Council members present: Krystyl Kulbeck,Jon Sheehy, Rich Jespersen, Blaine Ophus.

Approval of Meeting Minutes: Rich Jespersen moved to approve the July meeting minutes. Krystyl Kulbeck seconded and the motion passed.
Sheriff’s Report: None
Public Comment: None
Pivot: The Second cutting was good. An agronomist from Mountain View Co-op will be doing soil samples.
New Pool report: The committee submitted a grant for $100,000.00 from the Treacy Foundation
KLJ: Nothing from KLJ
Bear Paw Development: Brownfield update: Demolition should begin in the next two weeks. The Mayor will sign an engineering agreement with TD&H for the soil compaction after the building is taken down.
New Business:
Cell Tower: Rich Jespersen moved that the Mayor sign a letter of intent with Vertical Bridge for the installation of a Verizon cell tower on city owned property. Blaine Ophus seconded, motion passed.
Road Repairs: The road to the chlorination building is in need of repair. Blaine Ophus will contact
Genereux Gravel for a bid sheet.
Credit Card: The Clerk will contact 1st Bank for an application for a credit card there.
Old Business:
Community Decay: There is a hearing on September 17th at city hall at 2:00 p.m..

Public Works: None
Clerk: The shut off list was distributed electronically. The Clerk will be attending a Bear Paw Development Board Meeting on September 25th. She also reported that beginning with the October meeting, all meetings will be recorded and posted on line. She will work with our web person, Hilary Page, to get this set up.
The correspondence was distributed.
Claims: Rich Jespersen moved to accept the claims to date; Blaine Ophus seconded. Motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Rich Jespersen moved to accept JV 2026-02. Blaine Ophus seconded; motion passed.
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 2.
Anything to be brought before the Council. Krystyl Kulbeck reported that there is a meeting on September 10th at 11 a.m. with the DES person from Ft. Benton.
