REGULAR MEETING
Mayor Schwarzbach called the meeting to order.
Council members present were Colby Baumgarn, Jon Sheehy, Darin Ray and Ted Pursley.
Staff Present: Larry Geyer, Public Works, Wendy Kleinsasser, clerk
Public: Dennis Hale, Luke LaLiberty and Tim Uribe of KLJ engineering and Shane Chauvet
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve the minutes the June meetings, with the June 19th meeting minutes needing to be amended. Jon Sheehy seconded, motion passed.
Sheriff’s Report: None
Pool: No report.
New Water Project: Luke LaLiberty and Tim Uribe gave the council a status report on the water project. See attached engineers report for details. Jon Sheehy moved that the mayor sign the notice of award for the base bid, which will not include the fill station as the funding has not come through for that part of the projects. Colby Baumgarn seconded, motion passed. Construction should begin around July 23.
The salinity issue at the lagoon was discussed and it was decided to follow Dr. Bauder’s recommendations to try a different crop, try dilution and keep doing water and soil samples.
Bear Paw Development/Brownfield Project: No action.
New Business
Resolution 2019-01, Bear Paw participation: Tabled until August.
FAA approval for transfer of entitlements: Colby moved that the mayor sign the documents, Darin Ray seconded, motion passed.
MDT Rest Area MOU: Darin Ray moved that the mayor sign the document, Jon Sheehy seconded; motion passed.
Pribyl request: This is to be left on the agenda.
Ordinance 2018-01 Second reading: Darin Ray moved to approve the ordinance, Colby Baumgarn seconded. Approved unanimously on a roll call vote.

Claims: Colby Baumgarn moved to accept the claims. Jon Sheehy seconded; motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve JV 2018-12. Ted Pursley seconded, motion passed.
Any Business to be brought before the Council: There is a skate park fund raiser scheduled for July 20.
