Mayor Schwarzbach called the meeting to order.
Council members present Ted Pursley, Colby Baumgarn, Jon Sheehy and Darin Ray
Staff Present: Tim LaBuda, PWD, Larry Geyer, Public Works, Wendy Kleinsasser, clerk and Leslie Gregory, Pool Manager
Public: Lisa Moisey of Bear Paw Development and Harrison Fuson, KLJ
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Jon Sheehy moved to approve the May minutes. Colby Baumgarn seconded. Motion passed.
Sheriff’s Report None
Pool Report: Leslie reported that the pool is up and running with all the same lifeguards as last year. They will need new training books next year. She reported that there is some plumbing issues in the girls dressing room. This will be taken care of soon.
Public Comment: None
Pivot: Public Works Director, Tim LaBuda, gave the council an update on the pivot. He ran out all the water we had over the course of about 20 days. The alfalfa is growing well. It has been too wet to get soil samples. There was discussion about purchasing a back up motor for the pump to prevent delays. Nothing from the lawyers yet on this subject.

New Water Project:
The water project is nearly finished. It was discussed that the council preapprove the next pay request or hold a special meeting to approve it. It was decided that the matter would be handled at the July regular meeting.
There are still contingency funds available and possible uses were discussed. Cleaning up the old fill station was one idea.
Bear Paw Development:
Water Project:
Lisa Moisey presented the council with a Rural Development loan draw request to pay C&C Bear Paw Development. Jon Sheehy moved to have the mayor sign the request. Ted Pursley seconded and the motion passed.
Lisa reported on the TSEP planning grant. Only one can be submitted at a time, so the council went with the storm drain on Main Street, with Darin Ray making the motion and Jon Sheehy seconding. This is a 1 to 1 match, $15,000.00 TSEP and $15,000.00 town share.
Brownfield Project: No action.
New Business
Engineering Contract: Jon Sheehy moved that ads be placed and letters be sent out requesting qualification. Darin Ray seconded.
Resolution 2019-19: Budget increase to Capital improvements – buildings. Colby Baumgarn moved to approve the resolution; Ted Pursley seconded. The motion passed unanimously on a roll call vote.
Skate Park Fundraiser: Ted Pursley moved to approve the fundraiser; Jon Sheehy seconded. Motion passed. The fundraiser will be held June 19th.
Transfer of Entitlements: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve the transfer. Jon Sheehy seconded; motion passed.
New door and windows for city hall: the clerk will ask for bids.
Old Business
Water Ordinance: Nothing yet from lawyers
Committee Reports: None
Mayor Report: there are holes that need to be patched at the park by the pool.
Public Works: The fence at the dump needs to be repaired. Public Works will contact Great Falls Fence.
Clerk: The clerk will be out of the office on Monday and part of Thursday, but will be in Tuesday and Friday.

Claims: Colby Baumgarn moved to accept the claims. Ted Pursley seconded and the motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve JV 2019-11, Jon Sheehy seconded; motion passed.
Any Business to be brought before the Council: The next meeting will be held on July 11. There will not be a community Fourth of July celebration this year.
The council went into executive session.
