Mayor Schwarzbach called the meeting to order.
Council members present Colby Baumgarn, Jon Sheehy, Darin Ray and Ted Pursley.
Staff Present: Larry Geyer, Public Works, Wendy Kleinsasser, clerk
Public: Shane Chauvet and Lisa Moisey
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve the February work session and regular meeting minutes. Ted Pursley seconded; motion passed. Mayor Schwarzbach requested a change in the agenda, moving the pivot discussion after the RD draw request.

New Water Project: No report
Bear Paw Development:
Water Project: Darin Ray moved to approve signing the latest RD draw request. Ted Pursley seconded and the motion passed
Brownfield Project: No action.
Pivot: After a wide ranging discussion with Shane Chauvet, no firm decisions were made except to begin the soil sampling. Compensation amounts were discussed, and it was it was also discussed how to come up with an amount. Mayor Schwarzbach proposed that the town compensate Chauvets at an undecided level for three years and follow the plan that Dr. James Bauder put together. Shane Chauvet asked for firmer parameters for the long term. Mayor Schwarzbach requested that Chauvet put together a plan to move forward that would include an exit plan.

Old Business
Water Ordinance: There was a work session at 6:00. See minutes from that session.
Bobcat: The previously approved deal for a 2018 Bobcat to replace the current one fell through. The Town can purchase a 2019 model. Ted Pursley moved that the town pay off the old one and purchase the 2019 outright for $25,300.00. The clerk will put together a budget amendment using funds from general and gas tax funds.
Committee Reports: None
Mayor Report: The Mayor included updates to Northcentral Montana Regional Water during the pivot discussion. It looks good for completion in 3-5 years.
Public Works: None
Clerk:
* The shut off list was distributed
* The correspondence was distributed.
Claims: Colby Baumgarn moved to accept the claims. Jon Sheehy seconded and the motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve JV 2019-08, Ted Pursley seconded; motion passed.
Any Business to be brought before the Council: Colby will not be at the June meeting.
