Mayor Schwarzbach called the meeting to order.
The first order of business was to opt into the DES Multi Hazard agreement with the county, with the motion made by Colby Baumgarn and seconded by Rich Jespersen.
Council member Rich Jespersen read Ordinance 2021-01, an ordinance addressing community. Then the meeting was opened up to the public for their questions and input. There were several areas that may need clarification, such as who complaints should be the one to receive the complaint, which would be the town clerk. It was suggested to add that to the ordinance. Also under much discussion was the part of the ordinance that dealt with shielding and potential issues with snakes, skunks etc.
The Mayor and Council will take these questions and suggestions to the Town’s attorney and the first reading will take place when that process is complete.
The meeting was adjourned.
