Regular Meeting
Mayor Shaud Schwarzbach called the meeting to order.
Council members present: ,Rich Jespersen, Jon Sheehy, Danielle Weaver and Krystyl Kulbeck.
Staff present: Wendy Kleinsasser, Tim LaBuda
Public: Clint Browning, Verkada, Jeff Patterson, Verkada, Gary Johnson, KLJ, Travis Baumann, Big Sandy Schools, and Rob Gregory, Sara Strissel, BPD, via Zoom
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Jon Sheehy moved to approve the minutes from November. Rich Jespersen seconded. Motion passed.
Sheriff’s Report: None
Camera information: Clint Browning gave a presentation of the Verkada security system. He introduced a local dealer from Great Falls, Jeff Patterson, who we would be dealing with should the town opt to go this route. Travis Baumann informed the council of what is in place at our schools. Mr. Patterson will take a look around town with the Mayor and put together a cost estimate.
Public Comment: None
Pivot: Due to a lack of reply from 406-Ag, Shaud has spoken to another firm for soil sampling and advice for what to grown under the pivot.
New Pool report: Fundraising continues.
KLJ: See the attached memorandum from Gary Johnson, KLJ.
Bear Paw Development: Sara Strissel gave the Council an update on where things are regarding the old hotel. She will continue to give the Council monthly updates.

Old Business
Community Decay: A court date has been set for January regarding some property in town. Rich Jespersen continues to stay in touch with various property owners.

Public Works: None
• The correspondence was distributed.
Clerk: The shut off list had been sent electronically.
Claims: Krystyl Kulbeck moved to approve the claims. Jon Sheehy seconded; motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Rich Jespersen moved to accept JV 2023-05. Danielle Weaver seconded; motion passed.
Any Business to be brought before the Council: There was a discussion with a property owner regarding the community decay ordinance.
A date was set for a late Christmas get together for the Council and staff.
The clerk brought up the pending Outfall Permit application that needs to be completed by December 31.
Rich Jespersen moved to adjourn. Krystyl Kulbeck seconded.
The Council went into executive session.
