REGULAR MEETING
Mayor Steve Stiles called the meeting to order.
Council members present were Colby Baumgarn, Shaud Schwarzbach, Fred Watstein and Ted Pursley.
Staff Present: Wendy Kleinsasser, Town Clerk, Tim LaBuda
Public: Hilary Page, Shelley Nolan
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Colby Baumgarn moved to approve the minutes from the November meeting. Ted Pursley seconded, motion passed. Fred Watstein moved to approve the minutes of the special meeting, Shaud Schwarzbach seconded and the motion passed.
Public Comments: None
Hilary Page/Website: Ms. Page updated the council on her progress with the web page.
Sheriff Report: None.
New Water Project: Mayor Stiles gave an update on the conference call with RD, KLJ, Rural Development in Washington. There were some problems with the schematic maps of project, more detail is needed. This was taken care of by KLJ but somehow it was held up in the Bozeman RD office. An update from Tim Uribe at KLJ was distributed. See attached for details.
New Pool: At this time things are still in the exploratory stages.
Bear Paw Development/Brownfield Project: No action

Old Business
Charge for Inactive/Vacant properties connected to water and sewer system: Discussion, no action
Ditch and road plans: No action
Source Water report: Shelley Nolan from Rural Water gave the council copies of the recommendations they came up with. After checking with the town attorney, it appears we can work with the county DES and put a notice on the January bills asking how they would like to be notified in an emergency dealing with water issues. The council wanted time to go over the report, so this was tabled until the next meeting. Any action taken is voluntary.

Claims: Shaud Schwarzbach moved to approve the claims; Colby Baumgarn seconded; motion passed.
General Journal Voucher. Colby Baumgarn moved to approve JV 2017-06. Fred Watstein
Any Business to be brought before the Council: The town has a CD that has matured and is included in the Wells Fargo investment account. It will be put back into a short term CD, as it is felt that interest rates will increase soon.
The Town Christmas party will be held at Schwarzbach’s on January 6th.
Ted Pursley moved to adjourn, Shaud Schwarzbach seconded; motion passed.
