Regular Meeting
Jon Sheehy moved to appoint Shaud Schwarzbach as Mayor until the next election is held. Rich Jesperen seconded; motion passed.
Mayor Schwarzbach then administered the oath of office to Jon Sheehy and Blaine Ophus.
Mayor Schwarzbach then called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Public: None
Approval of Meeting Minutes: Rich Jespersen moved to approve the November meeting minutes. Blaine Ophus seconded and the motion passed.
Sheriff’s Report: None
Public Comment: None
Pivot: An agronomist called and said he would be here soon to do the soil sampling.
New Pool report: Rich Jespersen reported that the Pool Fund had received $60,000.00 from the Lipard-Clawiter Foundation and $21,000.00 from the Tordik Foundation.
KLJ: Still no approval from DEQ. The Clerk will contact Gary Johnson at KLJ to provide any information he may need from the town.
Bear Paw Development: Nothing new
New Business:
Agreement with Montana League of Cities and Towns: Jon Sheehy moved that we enter into an agreement with the League to provide assistance with cash reconciliation and the annual financial report.
TruGreen prepayments: The Town will go ahead with the prepayments for services for the parks.
Old Business:
Cell tower: A new clean document has been sent to the Town’s attorney from Verizon Bidge and she will expedite her review.
Community Decay: Rich Jespersen will contact Steve Gannon regarding next steps. There is an omnibus hearing on December 17th and a trial in January.
Committee Reports:
Blaine Ophus reported that Unified was able to pay for its’ insurance.
Mayor: None
Public Works: None.
Clerk: The shut off was sent out electronically
The correspondence was distributed.
Claims: Jon Sheehy moved to accept the claims to date; Blaine Ophus seconded. Motion passed.
General Journal Voucher: Rich Jespersen moved to accept JV 2026-05. Krystyl Kulbeck seconded; motion passed.
The next meeting will be Thursday, January 8.
