New Pool Design Meeting
Council present: Mayor Shaud Schwarzbach, Council members Jon Sheehy, Blaine Ophus, Krystyl Kulbeck and Rich Jespersen
Staff present: Clerk Wendy Kleinsasser
Public: Diana LaBuda and Kaden Bedwell, via Zoom
Council Member Blaine Ophus brought up the depth of the pool, which in the design sent out previously had been set at 6’8”. In order to accommodate a diving board, the depth would have to be a minimum of 8’6”. After debating the pros (looking toward the future and being able to install a diving board at some point in time) and cons (addition cost) Blaine Ophus made a motion to increase the depth to 9 feet. Jon Sheehy seconded and the motion carried.
